West Coast here we come : Oregon

Our family recently went on a vacation with Jake's family to the west coast which consisted of northern Cali and southern Oregon. It was Camille's first time to California and Oregon. Jake used to live in Oregon and this was the first time since moving to Utah to visit him home state which was fun.

In Oregon it was beautiful but very rainy. :( but really, what would u expect in Oregon honestly? it was to be expected. Jake isn't quite fond of the rain, having grown up in it. lol But i grew up in Utah, so i love the rain.

We went crabbing off a dock in Coos Bay which was a fun experience for all of us. Jaden loved seeing us pull up the crab pods and see all the crabs in it. If the crabs aren't big enough you have to throw them back. The men mostly did that, just because your hands get sore from the roughness and spines of the crab shells. But i picked up a few which was fun and scary at the same time.I was afraid they would pinch me (which if your not careful, they will) so every time i went to grab one, i would jump back, it was funny. That night we cooked the crab and ate it. Jake loves sea food, but i dont so much, but i ate it and actually ended up eating more than anyone. hehehe. We went to a beautiful garden by the ocean and then went to the ocean. It was so gorgeous. Jaden played in the sand with a shovel, but hated getting the sand on himself. He is a neat freak and hates getting dirty. hahah weird cuz most kids love it. But he still had a blast and loved seeing the ocean..

We spend quite a few days driving there and back but it was worth it and the scenery was spectacular. :)
